New on my Blog: Photo Archive Overview for my Most Popular Blog Categories.

Here’s something new on my blog which needed quite a lot of time and patience to be completed: my three most popular (and for me really important) blog categories are DIY, outfits and recipes. Because I always find it quite annoying on other blogs when I’m new to them or looking for specific content to browse chronologically through all entries and rather like seeing everything at once in order to then click only on what I’m interested in, I decided to make photo archives for those three categories which make a quick overview quite easy. :)
So this is new: when you click on DIY, outfits or recipes on top of my blog page just below the header, you now aren’t directed to all full entries which are chronologically listed after each other, but instead, there’s a photo overview of all posts related to that topic, newest post on top. You simply need to click on the photo which catches your attention in order to be directed to the specific blog post, yeah!
This took my a few weeks, because I have already been blogging for more than four years now and there’s lots of content which had to be put into those pages and lots of html-codes had to be changed. Puh, that’s done and I’m really happy about that, because this makes my blog even more accessible. :)

So when clicking onto the DIY section on top, there’s an overview of all my past DIY projects.

When clicking on the outfit section, you’re gonna see photos of all my past fashion blog posts and you simply have to click into the photo to get to the full blog article, yay! :)

Last but not least, I made access to recipes more easy, because there now is a pretty overview with all my past recipes for sweet things, savory food, drinks, shakes and even food tables. :)

So have fun browsing my archives and finding pretty and useful things! :)

Hello and happy Monday! :) Here’s on of my summer outfits. The dress is actually a handmade skirt I once found on the flea market (I fell in love with the fabric, because I loved the colors and the floral pattern), but with a nice belt, it can also be worn as a dress. I love to restyle vintage clothes or second hand clothes in general (if you need some advice, here’s the guide for how to shop and style vintage clothes). :)

As you may have noticed, I normally wear my hair long and open, but
sometimes I’m in the mood for a bun. This time, combined with a handmade
hairbow of which you can find many more in my shop. :)

The tote bag has been one of my favorite accessories this year since I
got it as a birthday present from my best friend in February. :)

Isn’t the fabric incredibly beautiful?

Sweet Strawberry MI Cake Dessert

Hello, hello! :) A few weeks ago, my dear friend Stefanie posted a recipe for raspberry cupcakes. They looked so delicious that I immediately bought all ingredients to bake them myself. They haven’t turned out like I expected, because I made a mistake with the quantities of the ingredients, but it was still super delicious. :) The difference was just that my version of Stefanies recipe rather tasted like a sweet dessert than cupcakes, because the frosting was more liquid and the dough was really creamy. No worries, this strawberry dessert was really sweet and tasty and I also managed to take good photos, but for the original cupcake recipe better check out Stefanie’s blog! :)

My Life in Instagram Photos: Summer Edition.

Hello hello and happy Saturday! :) It’s time for a new blogpost filled with Instagram photos from my everday life. I had three weeks of summer holidays and they were filled with quality time with friends and family, being at the lake, good food and travelling. See yourself! :)

Flo and I enjoyed a few days at the Baltic Sea, this was so relaxing! Long walks at the beach, quality time, swimming and sunbathing.

Back home, but packing again for a long girl’s weekend in Kassel with Anja and Stefanie (and here’s even a video)!! :*

Beach time at the Bugasee with the girls and we have been walking around a lot! :)

How much I love the colors in this photo!

Time with Stefanie and Anja was so great and I enjoyed every second! We took many photos, did sightseeing (I showed them my old hometown), took outfit photos and chatted a lot.

We also went to the Bergpark, Kassel’s most famous place and there we had a breathtaking view! At the end of the weekend, we were all really sad that we had to say goodbye and I can’t hardly wait for the next time!

Back home in Potsdam, there were only two days to relax and then I had to pack again, because we were going back to Kassel for a weekend with friends and family. I prepared a huge package for one of my closest friends who is soon going to become a father and I tried on my pink dress which I was planning to wear at a wedding party. :)

My oldest friend was getting married!!! Awww, so exciting and of course, we celebrated with him. While we were in our old hometown for a few days, we also went out with two of our best friends. :) I already miss them!

My mama and I went to my favorite zoo which is actually rather a wild park. I sat among penguins (eeeeeeks!!!!), fed a roe deer and enjoyed spending time with my mama. :)

Driving back home to Potsdam.

Back to work, there was a summer party for all DaWanda employees and there was a photo booth in which we also took a team photo of the Social Media Team in which I work. :)

After three weeks of travelling, packing, unpacking and meeting people, my dear friend Malin came from the other side of Germany to spend a long weekend with me. :)

I love thrifting!!

Malin and I spent one day in Berlin. She wanted to do some sightseeing and we also went into a photobooth. :)

I already miss her! Too sad that we only see each other once or twice a year, because we live so far away from each other!

Home sweet home! After all those great weeks of spending time with people I love, I’m happy to be home again and to have some time on my own. Although I enjoyed every minute and although I’m already missing all of them a lot (most of our friends live somewhere else and not really close to Potsdam), it feels good to have some quiet time at home again! :)

So back to everyday life and finally some quality time for only the two of us. Jump, jump, let’s see who’s getting higher! ;)

An Awesome Summer Surprise Package by heimatPOTTential.

Hello, hello! :) Some weeks ago, I received the most awesome summer package ever! Juli of heimatPOTTential, a great blog about Germany’s Ruhr Valley, sent me this fantastic package as a surprise (I just forgot to share photos on the blog ;)). It was filled with everything that you need in summer: happy words, soap bubbles, a water pistol, popsicles, lollipops, a polka dot bunting and some other things. Isn’t that package super cute?? I love presents which have been carefully put together and ideas that are so thoughful! Such surprises make me incredibly happy and also thankful for all the awesome people I met through blogging! :)
