Hello everyone! 🙂 Here’s a recipe for a coconut cake which I made for my Valentine’s Day sweet table and this is one of the very first cake recipes I have ever learned. 🙂
– 300g flour & 200g sugar
– 4 eggs
– 200ml milk
– 100g butter
– 2 tea spoons baking powder
– Coconut rasps
For the glaze:
– A lemon and powder sugar
First of all, seperate the egg yolk from the egg white.
Preheat your oven on 180°.
Mix egg yolks, sugar, butter and half of the milk until everyhing is super creamy. Then add the rest of the milk, flour, baking powder and coconut rasps.
Stirr the egg white until it’s stiff and carefully add it to the mixture.
Take a baking pan, butter it, insert the dough and let the cake bake at 180° for about 40 minutes. Then let the cake cool down a bit, mix fresh lemon juice with lots of powder sugar and spread the glaze over your cake. 🙂
