Hey everyone, happy late Sunday evening! :) Hope you were having a nice weekend! I had a lovely one in Leipzig, because I visited my friend Laura of Tagträumerin and we were chatting, eating and crafting. :) Now I’m back home and want to share my current home decor with you that I made last week.
I went to the woods and collected nuts, branches, leaves and other pretty things. I took everything home with me and put it onto a kitchen towel to let it dry. I wanted to use all those things to decorate my home.
Because I already hung up the apple bunting that I made last year, I wanted my decor to match it and I decided to use red spots of color.
To embellish an old bottle and a few jars, I used pretty masking tape (courtesy of modes4u) that I recently received. They wrote me an e-mail and asked me if I wanted to test some of their products and among other things (that I will show you another time), I chose those two rolls of tape. I looooove (washi) tape and I already own several rolls, but since I use them quite frequently, I can’t get enough of them. I chose the red one with rows of white dots and the white tape with red dots. I want to use them for Christmas, but as you can see, they are also perfect for my fall decor. As I already said, I used them to embellish those jars and what is good that I can easily remove them when I want to use the jars for another purpose.
Apart from embellishing jars and bottles with tape, I also used tiny bows and ribbons for my decor and I put some doilies onto our kitchen table. I really like the contrast of our turqouise table, the natural colors and red.

I filled a carafe with chestnuts and a tiny glass bowl with almonds and acorns and then put a little tealight on top. It’s so pretty when all the lights are off and we sit in the kitchen with just those candles burning. Perfect cozyness!

ach wie schön! :) Hab heute ein paar Blätter gesammelt und letztens Kastanien. Die liegen jetzt in einem Gläschen, wie bei dir. Nur hab ich noch kein Teelicht reingesetzt. :D
So sieht es auf unserer Kommode im Flur auch aus. Nur der Rest der Wohnung wartet noch auf die Herbstverwandlung. Da muss ich mich mal langsam ranhalten. Nicht, dass ich plötzlich schon vom ersten Schnee überrascht werde. ^^
I LOVE your little nature collection. It reminds me of when I was little. Every time we went out, I'd take a 'nature bag' to collect all that kind of stuff in. I think I'll start that passtime up again! Thank you for the inspitation!

Oh, das sieht wirklich hübsch aus! Rot und weiß ist unerwartet für eine Herbstdeko, wirkt aber in der Kombination wunderbar. Ich mag auch sehr, wie du die Häkeldeckchen eingebunden hast… Sehr toll mal wieder! (: Kann mir richtig vorstellen, wie ihr abends bei Kerzenschein am dekorierten Tisch sitzt und ein Glas Wein trinkt. (;

Wunderschöne Deko. Ja ich muss mich wirklich mal dran setzen und auch anfangen. Die Farbkombi ist überraschend schön. Bei rot, weiß denkt man doch eher an Weihnachten aber bei dir ist das sehr stimmig.
