Handlettering with the new Samsung Galaxy Book 12, a free Printable and a huge Giveaway

Hello everyone! Most of you know that I have been doing handlettering for quite a while now and I still absolutely don’t get tired of it. While constantly working on several new letterings, – either for clients or just for fun – I always try out new fonts, styles and techniques.

Until recently, I only created my handletterings with pen and paper, later digitalizing them. Every now and then, I felt the desire to also create my artwork digitally and then a few weeks ago, I contacted Samsung and pitched an idea that I had:

I came across their Samsung Galaxy Book, a 2-in-1 device which one the one hand is a portable and super light tablet, but which on the other hand has the performance of a real computer and works with Windows as operating system instead of just with apps. It is available as 12″ version and as 10,6″ version, both either with LTE or with Wi-Fi. I wanted to write a review about the Samsung Galaxy Book 12 (Wi-Fi-version) and this is what I am doing today.

What I Wore: Abandoned Swimming Pool

Hey everyone! This past summer, I spent a few wonderful days in the countryside. On one of the days, we went to an abandoned place tour where we came across a marvelous old building and found an old swimming pool during our explorations.

My pal Lisa of Mein Feenstaub and I immediately climbed down into the pool and took the chance to take some outfit shots at the bottom of that empty pool. Such a fun location. All the photos in this blogpost were taken by her. Thank you again!

Longboarding in Berlin: Fun Adventures on Tempelhofer Feld

Hi friends! This past summer was really exciting for me. I had more than two months off, traveled around and one of the many happy things I did was getting myself a longboard.

After having tried this once about two years ago, I still couldn’t forget about this feeling rolling around on a board. Then this summer, my friends and I wanted to rent boards to practice this fun sport and I decided to buy myself a longboard, hooray! I bought it at Ete Clothing where you can also rent boards for one day or longer in case you just want to carefully try it out without any further commitment.

DIY: FIMO Statement Necklace

Hello everyone! As a kid, I tried out lots of different crafts thanks to my parents. Later on, I kept working with several supplies for my DIY projects and during my early 20s, I first worked with FIMO. I made some earrings and tried out various shapes, for example black earrings looking like cats. Then I completely forgot about FIMO for a few years, until I then discovered all of the wonderful modern projects that my friend Lisa made for her great blog Mein Feenstaub. Shortly afterwards, I was invited to a FIMO-workshop she was giving for STAEDTLER and I then became curious again about this awesome modelling clay.

So recently, I sat down at home, working on my first FIMO-tutorial in years. Here’s a DIY for you for how to make a handlettering statement-necklace out of FIMO. Have fun!

Hello everyone! After my blog relaunch some weeks ago, I traveled around, started a new job and enjoyed the last days of summer. Now I am back home, getting settled for the new season.
