Hey, happy Sunday and happy Mother’s Day!!
A fantastic day for all the loving mothers who care for their children and try to make their lives perfect and do their best to make their kids feel loved and appreciated and give them confidence and support them! <3
I will start this day with making breakfast for my Mama, she’ll get this pretty card I made her and some other tiny gifts and then we are going to spend the day together. :) My mother is the best! <3
Do you have any special plans for Mother’s Day? Are do you doing anything special for your mother or have your children surprised you with something pretty? :)
I hope you all feel loved and have a magical day! :)

Easy Herb DIY Project

Hey everyone! Today I’m sharing a super easy DIY which is perfect as a gift and fun to make. :) It’s also perfect for a crafty day with children, because they can thus be introduced to dealing with plants / herbs and can watch them growing. :)
You need:
– Old cups or tiny bowls
– Some (organic) potting compost
– Cress seeds
– Toothpicks
– Washi tape

Fill your cups with potting compost and sprinkle the compost with lots of cress seeds and press them down lightly.

Use the toothpicks and washi tape to make tiny labels (I do this with all my plants on the balcony and this looks so pretty and you can’t confuse your herbs when they haven’t grown, yet. Just wrap the washi tape around the pick and write down the name of the plant.

It only takes about two or three days until you see the first shoots and only about two or three more days until they have really grown.

This is how my tiny cress teacups have been looking after less than one week. :)

Using tiny, kitchy vintage teacups, this is such a pretty project. :) I gave the tiny bowl to my mother and one of the cups to my friend Anja and kept the rest myself. :) I love fresh cress on bread with curd cheese. :)
Happy weekend!

Life has lately been pretty busy, lots of stuff to do for university and I’m sooo lazy, although I have to do so much reading! The best thing is: last year I failed a course and this year, I enroled again and got a 1,3 / A-, I’m sooo proud and happy. :) Life’s good! :)
Apart from university and work, I’ve been doing lots of cooking, crafting and sewing and spent time with some lovely people. :) Here are a few photos of last week. :)

May 1.

Happy Sunday!! :) I wish the weather today was as awesome as last week. :) On Tuesday we had a public holiday in Germany and Flo and I took our bikes and rode to a lake in Potsdam to have a picnic. We had an awesome afternoon, ate snacks that I prepared and sat in the sun. <3 We always have lots of visitors on weekends and meet friends, so this really long weekend was extra special, because it was only the two of us with lots of quality time. <3

We took with us my picnic basket which I bought two years ago and added paper boards covered with fabric to hold cutlery. :)

I used to jars (which Hanna gifted me in winter <3) for taking fresh fruit salad with us, so healthy and so tasty. :)

We just had the best afternoon in the sun! :) I love Potsdam so much, because here’s so much water and lots of green parks, it’s like going on holiday. :)
I hope you are having a nice weekend, I’m gonna spend the afternoon with crafting with my new colleague. :)
