Hello there! :) As you can see I’ve sewn two aprons with a fruity fabric design. :) One is smaller, the other one is a bit longer and I chose bias in two different colors. :) How do you like them? They are now available on DaWanda and in case you want to buy one via etsy, please let me know so that I can list the apron there, too. :)

What I wore // Handmade Bow Tie Shirt
Hello!!! :) Here’s another outfit post, I combined taking photos with a little photo shoot. I added a new category to my German shop and handprinted t-shirts to sell these designs online. :) You can get them here on DaWanda. :) A friend helped us to take the photos and I love them. :) Happy weekend! :)
(And no, we don’t have a new dog, this is Mogli’s best friend who was with us. :))

What I Wore – Oh, pretty Potsdam.

Hello! :) So sad the weekend’s over! We were having visitors over the weekend and on Sunday Jenny and I have been spending all day in the city. Each time she was here she never saw much of Potsdam, because we’ve always been at my place or went to Berlin, so it was time to show her all those pretty places. :) Of course we went to the best ice cream parlour ever and ate sorbet and in the evening we met the boys for dinner.

DIY: Heart-shaped mini pillow.

Hiiii! :) It’s finally weekend and I was in mood for a little DIY project. This is pretty easy and looks so lovely on my bed. :)
First, take some fabric and cut out a heart. Of course you need two layers, one for the front, one for the back. Next, sew the two layers of fabric upside down onto each other, the two sides which are later supposed to be on the outside now have to be facing each other. Don’t forget to leave an opening so that you can turn the inside to the outside later on. After you’ve sewn the two pieces onto each other, cut little triangles into the seam allowances so that the pillow becomes rounder.

Then, turn the pillow’s inside to the outside and fill it with lining. I used washable lining, because the pillow is without a zipper and so it’s important that you wash the pillow with its lining. Afterwards, the only thing you have to do is to close the opening of the pillow with a tiny seam. That’s it! :)

I really like it, it’s such a pretty eyecatcher on our bed. :)

Happy Friday!

Helly everybody! :) Any plans for the weekend? Flo and I are having visitors over the weekend and apart from spending time with them, I’ll do some sewing and crocheting. :) Although this sometimes makes me feel like being an old granny, this is soooo relaxing and I really need this at the end of a long week. :)
What are you planning to do? :)
Any suggestions for some topics you’d like to see here on my blog the following weeks? :)
