Hey everyone! :) What have you been up to lately? :) I finished a lot of sewing projects (but I didn’t manage to take photos of all of them, because either the light hasn’t been good enough or I didn’t have any time) and this is a pouch I made for my beloved friend Anja as a birthday present. :)
How do you like the pattern and the floral print? I love the fabric and I immediately had to think of her when I saw the fabric and its color combination. Can’t get enough of sewing, there are so many pretty things to do. :)
By the way, check out Vivi’s blog (although it’s in German, there are lots of pretty photos), she has recently been featuring me and some of my items. :)
Wish you a lovely day!
Lu :)
Happy birthday, Anja!

Yaaaaaay, happy birthday, sweetheart! :)
Today’s a special day, it’s my friend Anja‘s birthday! :) I wish you all the best one can wish, but I’m gonna tell you this in person later today… :)

Anja and I have been ‘knowing’ each other for many years through the online forum of our common favourite band, but we really became friends about two years ago when we had our first date after I had moved to Potsdam. <3
The first fisheye photo above was taken exactly 2 years ago on her birthday, shortly after we started seeing each other. :) Since then, we spent a lot of time together and I love her as a friend! :)
I hope you are having an amazing day, see you later!! :) <3
Another tiny shop update.

My dearest readers, I hope you are having a lovely Sunday! :) After our weekly Sunday brunch, we went out for a walk in the forest and afterwards, I’ve been sewing for a while.
I made a whole bunch of new oven cloth and listed them on DaWanda. :) I love colorful kitchen textiles, what about you? :)
What have you been doing all weekend?

What they wanted to know…
question and answer challenge.
in German, so I roughly translated them into English). Questions one to eleven
have been identical and both of them asked them, but questions twelve to
sixteen have only been asked by Malin. :)
only knew that I wanted to have own children one day and a house with a garden.
:) I’m not one of those people who have been knowing their whole life what they
wanted to be one day, I rather tend to see what comes and how my skills and
interests develop.
learnt at school?
speak English. <3
age when you were younger?
hasn’t been a real future plan, I sometimes imagined myself to be a teacher.
Maybe I’ll teach e-courses one day instead of teaching normal pupils at a
school, I think this would be more fun… :)
it! :) I love American literature, that is one of my favorite subjects at
university.
the last time I’ve been really, really, really crying tears of happiness was
last summer at the Foo Fighters concert in Berlin, just the moment when Dave
Grohl was entering the stage and they were playing the first chords… <3
favorites of those I’ve already been to. I think there are some way more
exciting places. :)
also dreaming of a road trip through the US. And I’d love to visit New Zealand
one day.
improve my life one day, but these are all things on which I’m already working
pretty hard.
you see, it’s been a while since I’ve been asked these questions… Sorry for
the delay! :))?
dumplings, but since I have changed my eating behavior and have decided not to
eat animals anymore, I substituted poultry with delicious homemade mushroom
rissoles (soooo tasty!).
this year?
I can’t wait for these girl’s weekends! <3
12. Where would you be now if money didn’t
matter?
money didn’t matter, but concerning a particular place, I’ve got no idea! Not,
that’s not true, I think I’d have many idea, too many, but not a single one
which instantly comes to my mind when thinking about this.
childhood which my mother is keeping for me, but I never had a close relation
to a certain cuddly toy. :)
dress up?
do not like the German version. I don’t like too many drunken people in one
place at the same time and I don’t like tasteless costumes. But apart from
that, I loooove dressing up (and throwing costume parties…)! :)
day?
the question had been ‘name ten of your favourite blogs,’ this would have been
way easier. My absolutely favourite blog is – surprise, surprise –
abeautifulmess. :) In case there’s still a reader who doesn’t know this blog,
make sure to check it out. :)
A tiny shop update.

Hey guys, happy Thursday! :) I just wanted to inform you about a little shop update. Because the old boards I made in autumn were nearly sold out, I decided to make some new mini pinboards and listed them on DaWanda just yesterday. :) I hope you like them and I already have a feeling that I know which one will be everybody’s favourite… :)
Enjoy your day! :)
Lu
