Hi everyone! Today I want to show you my new monthly planner and I’ve got a link for a great printable for you!
First of all, do you remember my recent planning & organization blogpost? At the beginning of the year, I made my own monthly calendar by hand and this system works pretty well for me.
Make your own monthly planner with the printable
After I had started using my own handmade calendar, my best friend Anja, who blogs on aentschie’s Blog and who is also a media designer, made a free printable for a really cute monthly planner which is way prettier than mine AND each page has a front and back and is made in a way that you can print it out and bind it as a real calendar. :) Here you can find her free monthly planner for 2014 (if you are as late as I am and still need some pretty pages to fill out with plans and dates every month).
Here’s how I made my planner
First of all, I simply printed out her free planner file and put all pages onto each other in the right order. Then I took a piece of colorful paper for the outside (seen on the photo below) and cut it to the size of the pages and put it underneath so that it would later become the outter cover and back. Then I used my sewing machine (but you could also sew by hand) for making one seam in the middle to connect all pages.
Being folded in the middle, this was how it looked then.
Afterwards I took a roll of pretty tape to glue a stripe over the seam on the outter side.
Next, I took one of my fave Instagram photo prints and used a glue roller to attach this to the front of the calendar in order to give it a pretty cover. :)
That’s it, so pretty!
Now I do not only have those plain loose pages with monthy calendars, but I even have a tiny book with all the pages and those even have a front and back. :) Perfect!

Eine tolle Idee und ein so schönes Ergebnis! Allerdings begann ich Ende letzten Jahres mit der Blurb Version – sprich überteuerter, gedruckter Kalender.. aber dafür so schön! Für sowas individuelles geb ich dann doch gern mein Geld aus, und Individualität kann ein Kalender eh nie genug besitzen. Den hier speicher ich mir trotzdem mal ab, sieht so super aus – an dieser Stelle danke fürs teilen!

Das ist so schön geworden! Ich habe mir die Seiten auch schon ausgedruckt (leider nur in schwarz/weiß, aber ich finds immer noch sehr hübsch) und muss mir nun auch noch so ein hübsches Cover basteln wie du.
Die Ferientage habe ich schonmal alle eingetragen, hihi.

Supertoll! Ich habe mir dieses Jahr wieder einen Kalender mit Wochenübersichten gekauft, aber komme damit nicht wirklich gut klar. Euer Monatsplaner ist echt die perfekte Alternative, auch für Bachelorplanung und Co. Den druck ich mir gleich aus, wenn ich aus Barcelona zurück bin! Danke, ihr zwei Süßen! (:
