Hey lovely people! In 2018, I started taking more portrait photos and further practiced my photography skills with lovely people in front of my lens. I just updated my portrait photography portfolio with some new miscellaneous portrait shots and also with some detailed series. One of them is the photo series with my friend Maria which I took in late summer.

Maria is the owner of the sewing pattern label NUDE Collective where she designs modern and contemporary sewing patterns.

She develops patterns for women to make clothes they feel absolutely comfortable in. As a pattern designer, she wants to make it possible for women to sew clothes for themselves that fit perfectly, but don’t have the typical handmade look. You know what I mean, right? Sustainable thinking is important to her and she believes that through the process of sewing our own clothes, we learn to not only value the materials and their origins, but also the finished pieces.

Back in late summer, Maria launched her new website and needed new portrait photos for this. So we spent some time in the studio and then strolled around Berlin during one warm late summer evening, looking for nice locations and casually getting her photos taken.
