Hello and happy & sunny Sunday! 🙂 Here’s what I recently sewed, baby things for our friends who are having the cutest little boy! 🙂
I made a dribble bib with squirrel and car fabric, an apple application and yellow towel fabric on the back, soo cute! 🙂
Moreover, I made my first piece of baby clothing! Because it was only a little, rather spontaneous sewing experiment, I didn’t have a real sewing pattern and made one myself. I think the pants turned out quite well (with normal cotton fabric on the outside and really soft fabric on the inside), but they are slightly too small for the baby I made it for (wow, how fast babies are growing!! :D) and at the bottom of the pants, I didn’t leave enough space for the diaper. 😀 But since I love learning by doing, I will simply make it better next time. 🙂
Because of the elastic blue fabric which you can fold over, the pants can grow with the baby. 🙂
Hope you are having a great day, I will spend my afternoon eating ice cream. 😀 During the next days, I will hopefully manage to upload some of my latest projects of which I’ve already taken lots of photos, but there’s currently so little time and I wish I had more time for blogging, but that’s how it is at the moment. 🙂 For those of you who want daily updates, simply follow me on Instagram (@luloveshandmade). 🙂
